1 lb ground meat
1 egg
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2C rice(uncooked), optional...(this is what makes them porcupine meatballs)
Make out into balls about the size of a ping pong ball. Brown on all sides in a skillet. Put into tomato sauce or gravy and cook in skillet for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve with mashed potatoes, noodles, or spaghetti.
