Sometimes we casually sing, “This world is not
my home, I'm just a-passin’ through….” But we sure do hammer our tent
pegs down tightly to this earth, don’t we? That’s understandable—this is
the only physical world we’ve ever known. But Psalm
90:1 says, “Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations…”
A wise teacher once said, “Home is the LIFE you live, not the PLACE you
live.” Our true home is in the Father heart of God. He dwells within us
and we in Him.
Jesus said, “At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.” John 14:20
“He who dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1
