Are We Praying the Wrong Prayer?
Many of us praying for our unsaved friends, family, and neighbors are directing our prayers in the wrong way, saying, “Oh God, help them see.” But they are blind—they cannot see! 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 explains: “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

We must first bind the blind-er, Satan. We’re not in a battle of flesh and blood, but with Satan himself, and we will never rob his house until we first bind him.
“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19
