Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful for my Bible.  It comforts me when I am down.  It lifts my spirits when I'm cold and warms my days even if it's hot outside.  It makes me happy when I feel there's nothing to be happy about.  My Bible is my dear friend and I rejoice in it's words.  I learn something new each time I open it.  I take comfort in the words my Lord has given me and try to understand what He is teaching me.  I  just love my Bible!

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful today for the beautiful weather that God has given us.  I am thankful for His many blessings, great and small.  I am thankful for my church family.  I am thankful for my husband and all my family.  I am thankful for my friends.  I am thankful for Him waking me up this morning.  I am thankful for His word and that I am able to read it.  I am thankful to God for my life.  Be blessed!

Thankful Thursday

Today, I am thankful for God waking me up, for the air I breath and the beauty I see around me.  I'm thankful for my family and friends.  I'm thankful that God is working in my life.  I pray to be his slave and do his will always.  I'm thankful for my church family and all the people that are making a difference in my life.  

I'm thankful that Christmas is near and that we celebrate Christ's birth.  Did you know that the evergreen in the tree represents the everlasting life that Jesus offers when you accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior.  The gifts we give represent the gifts the Christ-child was given as a baby by the Wise Men.  I am thankful for this season.  Jesus is the reason for the season after all and we should all be thankful for Him.

I am thankful for my home and all my belongings that God has given me the priviledge of having here on Earth.  I am thankful that He has given me all I need.  I pray for His protection and His will to be done in my life.  Most of all I am thankful that God loves me enough that He sent His only son to die for my sins that I might have everlasting life! 

Meet My New Bible!

I have a new Bible that I recieved yesterday.  It was sent by UPS and only had my name on the invoice.  The also said it was free.  No name from who sent it to me or anything.  I have asked everyone I can think of if they sent it but no one did.  It is a beautiful Bible and I love it.  It's a NIV and it is a breast cancer awareness Bible with comforting verses highlighted in pink.  I would like to say thank you to the person who sent it to me.  I have really enjoyed reading from it last night and today.  I took a couple of pictures of it and will share them with you all.  The first is the Bible out of the box, the other is in the box.

Thankful Thursday

Today, I am thankful that God is leading my life.  I am also thankful for my family and friends.  I am thankful to be able to pray for my family, friends, myself, and my enemies.  I am thankful for my blessings and trials, for my trials make me stronger in Christ.  I thank God for giving me four strong, healthy and respecting children and 6 beautiful, strong and healthy grandchildren.  I pray that God will lead their lives.  Thank you Father for this day, may your will be done in my life.

Thankful Thursday

Today, I'm thankful for everything I have, it has been given to me by God.  I'm thankful that my "baby" Harlie, my miniature pom, is safe.  He was run over on Tuesday a week ago, he only lost his right eye and yes, I am thankful for that.  I'd rather have him alive than to have him die.  I am thankful that my dear baby son(22yrs) has a job that he enjoys.  I pray that he will stick with it for a long time to come.  I'm also thankful that my oldest dear daughter is doing well since she had her tonsils out.  I am thankful that my youngest dear daughter has found a job and she seems to be liking it.  I am thankful for my oldest dear sons job.  I am thankful for my dear husband feeling a bit better.  I am thankful for all my children's families.  I am thankful for all the blessing and trials that God has given me.  Be blessed!

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for my God.  I am thankful that I am a washed in the blood born again Christian.  I am thankful for Jesus who died on that wicked cross that I might be saved.  I am thankful for this day and the many blessing God has given me.  I am thankful for my family and friends.  I am thankful that God kept us safe as we traveled to Jackson and back home.  I am thankful that we have a home, a car, clothes to wear and food to eat.  I pray that God will guide the very words I speak and the steps that I take.  Thank you Father for all you do for me.

Thankful Thursday...

I am so very thankful for my family and for this day that God has given me. I'm thankful for the blessings I have already recieved from God today and for those to come. I am thankful for the food God provided us and the ability to pay for them. I thank God that I am again able to walk without the aid of a cane or wheelchair.
